All levels of pupils are catered for from the complete beginner to the more advanced as well as all ages from 4 to 60 plus. This is an aerial picture showing the facilities and some of the land. |

Below are some pictures of the facilities available at CRS.

This is our main arena (manege) where most of the training takes place. It is an all-weather surface comprised of sand with
a layer of soft rubber chips on top.
This is our mini-manege where we can teach the younger pupils who might be intimidated by the larger arena.
The surface is simply sand.
These are the main stables where the horses are kept during the day and in bad weather. We do like to keep the horses out as much as
practical because they don't like being couped up.
We have some fields we use for the horses after the weekend to have a rest. We take them down in the horsebox on Sunday afternoon and pick them up again in
the week when they're needed for riding lessons. We try and make sure all the horses get a holiday there as often as we can. They really enjoy the freedom
and the ability to have a gallop and a play together. |

THE PEOPLE
Coachman's is run by the Amor family consisting of Barry, Jane, Helen, Joanna and Simon. Together we have over 45 years of instructing experience.
We do have other instructors too, who help us out. During the weekend and the holidays we have a number of Pony Club members who come along to the Grooms' club and you will see them helping out and leading many of the Lead rein riders. GO TO TOP |

THE PETS
When you visit Coachmans you will no doubt be welcomed by our pets.
They are all very friendly so don't be frightened.
Give them a stroke and make their day!!!
Rosie would love to be a real sheep dog, herding animals all day long. She loves to try and herf the sheep we have as well as the chickens!
She would never harm them and we completely trust her with them. She is very friendly and loves to chase sticks and balls - if she can drag herself away from the lambs.
This is Molly. She is a Border Collie like Rosie, though we think there might be some Alsatian in her
because of her ears. She is very friendly, and loves to chase stones thrown for her !!!.
This is Sally. She is a Cocker Spaniel and is adorable. She has had puppies and we kept one and she is......
...Satin. She's more like a cuddly teddy bear than a dog and just loves attention.
This is Pickle, full name - Branston Pickle, because that's what she looks like ! She's a house cat and is very friendly.
Buttons is the best mouser, she used to shy away from strangers, but now loves attention. Her white fur is always sparkling clean - she must spend many hours licking herself.
This is Jemima, the youngest of the cats. She loves to spend all day asleep on top of the washing machine, so consider yourself
lucky if you catch a glimpse of her while you're here. She plays all sweet, until you get close enough then she swipes you with her paw! |
Here are some of our new additions to the CRS pets. Marcus is our cockerel and he has a happy flock of 9 ladies of different breeds to keep him occupied.
We often let them roam free around the stables, so beware, you may come across one as you walk around the yard!
The chickens are :-Black tails, Red Stars, Buff Orpingtons, Salmon Faverrollets and light Sussex - see if you can tell which is which!
