Polocrosse is a fast and exciting sport played on horseback. The game is a cross between polo and lacrosse where the ball is picked up and thrown using a racquet rather than hit using a mallet as in polo.

We teach Polocrosse here at Coachman's, usually on a Sunday afternoon, and our Pony Club team came third at the 2008 Pony Club championships against full Pony Club branches. Adults also play and are very welcome to come along and have a go.

The lessons are usually taught by Simon who is an under 21 UK team player so you know you're getting the best Coaching!!

To see promotional videos of the sport on You Tube click on the play buttons below. The second video features Simon, see if you can spot him on Santi his horse

If you fancy the idea of playing (we don't expect you to play as well as they do on the videos!!) speak to one of the staff. The cost of the lessons is the same as for a normal group lesson, but if you also have a 'normal' lesson during the week or weekend there is a reduction for the Polocrosse lesson.

To find out more about the sport click on the link UK Polocrosse Association. The local club is based at Northop, see their website for further details.
